Autism and employment A unique event to go over employment and Autism happened at Goldsmiths, University of London this complete week. For the very first time charities, experts, business and federal government were brought together to check out how people who have Autism, and related disorders, could be supported into work effectively. It’s estimated that within the UK you can find around 535,000 people who have Autism Spectrum disorder , including with Asperger or Autism syndrome. [1] The function was organised by Dr Elisabeth Hill and Dr Joanna Yarker from the Section of Psychology at Goldsmiths, together with the National Autistic Culture.
